Marvel Rivals Season 2 will introduce new Team-Up Combos for characters along with tweaking existing ones

As Marvel Rivals approaches its second season, exciting changes are in store, particularly for Team-Ups. The game’s director, Guangyun Chen, revealed that new Team-Up skills will be introduced, besides adjustments to existing ones. These additions will aim to revitalise the combat experience for players.

Team-ups are a central aspect of Marvel Rivals, enabling heroes to stack powers and build novel synergies. Certain team-ups, such as Hulk and Iron Man, are already popular among fans. They can be game-altering, such as how Adam Warlock's Team-Up enables Mantis and Star-Lord to instantly revive or how Doctor Strange and Iron Man can increase damage by teaming up with Hulk.

Marvel Rival Season 2: New heroes, theme and more

With Season 2 of Marvel Rivals expected to drop on April 11, 2025, we will take you through the upcoming changes and updates to the game. Season 2 is expected to feature a Hellfire Gala theme, with new content lined up as well. The players are also looking forward to the addition of Blade, a new hero. The development team has been busy, with seasons 3 and 4 already in heavy development and design for both seasons have already been completed.

Chen mentioned that team-up skills will be dynamic in Season 2, with some adjustments to maintain hero balance. These changes, combined with overall seasonal balance adjustments, aim to create a new combat environment for players.
