New Avatar Powers Hit Fortnite Blitz Royale: Here’s Everything You Need to Know

Epic Games has created a new interest among the fans of the game Fortnite, once again, as they have officially announced the new exciting stage of the Blitz Royale limited-time mode. Featuring the popular gameplay of Blitz Royale combined with bending elemental powers, taken on the Avatar: The Last Airbender, this new update is appropriately titled Avatar Returns. A crossover that will occur between June 24 and June 30, the crossover boosts the gameplay battle and tactics in this short and time-limited battle royale game.

Blitz Royale is famous for its simplified format 32-player games, much smaller map size, and the time of a match which is less than five minutes. When the players drop in, they have either Mythic weapon or Medallion and are tossed into a growing storm that push towards fast engagement. Players will level up as they gain eliminations or makes it through storms that occur every few matches, rewarding them with more powerful weapons and special abilities referred to as Boons through acquisition of Golden Chests, hidden across the island.

The gameplay becomes even more exciting with the introduction of the content of the Avatar Returns. Now the players are able to find elemental scrolls all over the map, namely to gain the power of water, earth, fire, and air. Such skills are mainly obtained in special Avatar-themed supply drops and pagodas, and they fit smoothly with the zero-build, high-stake setting. Such an addition is not only an improvement as far as offense and mobility are concerned, but also brings in different ways to survive and move around.

The fans have shown a vigorous interest, and not the least apprehension has been that bending will be a factor to turn the scale in matches. Nevertheless, the riotous entertainment seems to dominate the issue of competitiveness presently. There will also be weekly Avatar-themed missions, completing which, players will unlock some unique objects, including the Blitz Knight outfit and the Blitz Brella glider.
