The Finals 7.1.0 Update Brings Key Fixes, Weapon Updates, and Stability Improvements

The Finals got updated again with patch 7.1.0, which was launched on June 19. While not that big, it has several needed fixes. Players might not see new content, but there are still a bunch of improvements that should help with gameplay and other things, too.

The Finals 7.1.0 Update Weapon Bugs and Animations Fixed

• The SA1216 shotgun had a reload issue where the animation didn’t show correctly. Now it's showing proper “Reload Empty” animation, which was missing before but is back now.

• Also, the new weapon system had to be disabled earlier because of a bug where accuracy was messed up after players jumped and respawned. That's now fixed, so it’s enabled once again.

Gadgets Adjustments

• The Breaching Drill had weird animation while placing it, but that has been corrected, so it appears normal when using it.

• Another thing, the Healing Emitter was healing players through barriers, which wasn’t meant to happen. Now it can’t do that anymore, making healing more fair.

Trophies Return to Practice Range

A small but good fix—trophies from Season 6 is showing again in Practice Range. Earlier, they were just not appearing. Now you can view them again if you had unlocked.

Game Stability and Frame Rate

• There were performance issues, like when using emotes near a Gateway or messing with Anti-Gravity Cube while certain skins were equipped. Those made the game lag, but they solved it.

• Memory usage is also improved, especially on PlayStation 4, which will give players smoother play, maybe less crashing too.

Chat Problems and Party Glitches

• The text chat at the end of the round wasn’t working before, now that’s fixed.

• Party issue where if the leader changed during a match, sometimes it didn’t function well in groups of 4 or more. That bug has been removed now.

• Club chat also had display problems, which are not happening.

There was an error with the Ray Gun skin discount not being shown properly. Now, store prices appear as they are supposed to, so that confusion won’t be there.

While Update 7.1.0 didn’t add new gadgets or maps, it was still important. Fixes on weapons, chats, animations, and performance stuff will help with smoother play. It’s more of a maintenance update, and hopefully, more polish continues in the next ones.
