Gamers on Reddit are praising The Red Dead Redemption for its perfect blend of therapeutic and engaging gaming experience.

The Rockstar Games has garnered a huge place in people's hearts when it comes to the GTA franchise. This also made their reputation for creating top-notch titles well-deserved. Although with their successful franchise, they also have "Red Dead Redemption 2" which shines as one of their absolute best, and for good reason.

The game was released five years ago on PS4 and Xbox One in 2018, it has captivating story missions, enjoyable side activities, intense wild west gunfights, breathtaking visuals, and a sprawling open world that offers a little bit of everything.

What is making fans crazy for Red Dead Redemption 2

When it comes to its open world, creating one that feels alive and engaging is a difficult task. Many game developers try, but not all are successful. Take a peek at some of Ubisoft's latest titles. While RPG-style "Assassin's Creed" titles can be enjoyable, their open worlds frequently overflow with content, resulting in an overwhelming experience. This is where "Red Dead Redemption 2" really shines.

In contrast to the overcrowded settings in previous games, the wide world in this one feels like a breath of fresh air. Yes, there's enough to see and see, but it doesn't overwhelm you with tasks. Its design is calming, giving a therapeutic gaming experience that is difficult to obtain elsewhere.

The internet is buzzing with talk about how "Red Dead Redemption 2" gets the concept of an open world done well. It achieves the ideal blend of content-rich exploration with a relaxing ambiance.

RDR2 is open-world game done right. Though the map is huge and the towns are scattered and far in between, random encounters make the game feel alive and fun to ride on the horseback and explore. Many side/rob missions also surprisingly have depth not just boring fetch quests.

Joining the conversation, one user wrote, "If you played the first one that's even better because it's actually a prequel to RDR1. But yes even on top of that, as a standalone game, it's more of a cinematic experience than a game. Highly recommend."

Meanwhile, another one criticized saying, "It's definitely not for everyone, slow burn story, slow animations, slow travel.. I absolutely love it for that reason, I can get lost in it for hours every play session."
