Wuthering Waves Version 2.1: NEW Areas In Map and More

Wuthering Waves is a story-rich open-world game with a high degree of freedom.and they have just officially revealed a preview of Version 2.1, "Waves Sing, and the Cerulean Bird Calls" which is set to launch on February 13, 2025.

Kuro Games has once again simply outdone themselves with the attention to detail, stunning visuals and seamless world design. Which is so jaw-dropping that a player just can't help but gasp while looking at the preview. Version 2.1 will release a few new regions in Rinascita, expanding the map of the Land of Echoes: with the addition of the 2 new areas - Riccioli Islands and Averardo Vault: Underground Depository

Riccioli Islands

Riccioli Islands is located north of Ragunna City and due to being surrounded by waters, is home to fishermen and their Echo companions. These islands also have a strong connection to water so the Gondola Echo will come in handy when navigating the new map.

In the livestream, there are hints of strange occurrences going on the island as well as outside it, which Phoebe is investigating. The people however aren't as welcoming to her presence, regardless there seems to be a connection with the sea and the bizarre events going around.

Averardo Vault: Underground Depository

Another area that will be added in Wuthering Waves 2.1 is the new underground area of the Averardo Vault. Originally constructed by the Montelli family, the Averardo Vault is renowned for housing a vast collection of treasures like precious metals, artworks, and rare Echoes. It also offers public services such as secure storage, there seems to be some sort of upcoming turmoil regarding that involving Phoebe.

In this expansion, players can expect to explore the top-secret underground areas of the vault, which were previously inaccessible. The exploration of these areas will likely involve solving puzzles, engaging in combat with formidable foes, and uncovering valuable treasures
