Zenless Zone Zero Season 2 Launches in June Alongside Xbox Series X|S Debut

HoYoverse have finally announced that Zenless Zone Zero will get its Version 2.0 update, called “Where Clouds Embrace the Dawn”, on June 6, 2025. This also means the game is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox Cloud Gaming, expanding beyond PlayStation 5, PC, iOS, and Android.

Version 2.0 brings players to a whole new place, the Waifei Peninsula, featuring the busy area known as Failume Heights. You will work alongside fresh faces like Yi xuan, who leads the Yunkui Summit, managing the Suibian Temple and facing tougher enemies in expanded Hollow zones. Combat has been tweaked, letting players to master even more Ether powers — it feels different, but in a good way.

Xbox Launch Details

On Xbox Series X|S, ZZZ is said to support DirectX RayTracing, HDR, and native 4K at a steady 60FPS. There’s Quick Resume feature too, and controller vibrations are refined for each blow and dodge. Cross-progression works out of the box, so if you linked before, your account and progress follows you over.
