As per the new information, the company has outlined that it will open pre-registration for the game from May 18. Interested users can head to the game listing on Google Play Store to pre-register for the upcoming game. Krafton also revealed that it is offering some in-game rewards for its fans to pre-register for the game. Besides, another report shared that Battlegrounds Mobile India players will also get back their in-game items when they start playing. Let’s check everything we know around Battlegrounds Mobile India including the pre-registration date and in-game item availability here.

Battlegrounds Mobile India pre-registration date out

According to the announcement, the company noted that the pre-registration for the game will open on May 18. It is also worth noting that this pre-registration option will only be available for Android users on Google Play Store. Krafton also stated that the pre-registration rewards will only be available for Indian players. So, anyone outside India can’t pre-register for Battlegrounds Mobile India to get these rewards on their PUBG Mobile account. Players will automatically get these rewards when they first open the game after the launch. This rewards package is like the PUBG Mobile India welcome package that surfaced last year. One will likely get India-themed in-game skins, weapons, and items as per past rumors.

The game developer also shared an 18-second video teaser to hype the pre-registration of the game. This video starts with a loading screen with the text “Are You Ready?”. The loading screen completes opening an information screen with the “Pre-Registration” date and the hashtag IndiaKaBattlegrounds. Like other teasers, we could hear the familiar PUBG Mobile music in the background. As highlighted in the past, it means that Battlegrounds Mobile India will likely be a rebranded and slightly tweaked version of PUBG Mobile.

Players to get PUBG Mobile in-game items like skins, weapons; details

Beyond the information around pre-registration, PUBG eSports player Abhijeet ‘Ghatak’ Andhare has just shared new details about the game. Ghatak stated that Battlegrounds Mobile India players will not lose their inventory from PUBG Mobile after switching to the new game. This means Krafton is working on a method to allow players to restore their in-game items like weapons, skins, UC, and more. He also stated that the new game will not offer the option for cross-server matches. This means Battlegrounds Mobile India is only limited to Indian players. The move to not allow cross-server matchmaking is obvious considering Krafton will host the data on servers located in India and Singapore.
