This logo reveal comes right after Krafton first shared the announcement regarding the PUBG Mobile return to India. Let’s check everything we know around Battlegrounds Mobile India here including parental restrictions.

The developers behind Battlegrounds Mobile India, one of the most anticipated Battle-Royale smartphone games has just released a new trailer. This new video trailer is pegged as a “logo reveal” for the upcoming title. In addition, the company also shared a new marketing hashtag for the game, #IndiaKaBattlegrounds. This logo reveal comes just a day after Krafton first shared the announcement regarding the PUBG Mobile return to India. Also, we spotted a new report that shared important information for Battlegrounds Mobile India players under the age of 18. This information includes the parental restrictions, playing time limits, limits on in-game purchases, and more. Let’s check everything we know around the new Battlegrounds Mobile India trailer including the restrictions for under-18 players here.

Battlegrounds Mobile India shares a new logo reveal teaser

As noted above, the new video trailer showcases the official logo of Battlegrounds Mobile India. Though Krafton shared the logo in the formal relaunch announcement, the video also includes an animation of an in-game item. The 26-seconds long video also hinted at the traditional helmet that has long represented PUBG Mobile and Battle Royale. We have already reported that the company plans to release the game in the coming weeks. However, Krafton has not shared the formal launch date for the title yet. The official logo itself includes the three primary colors that we have seen in the Indian flag.

Restrictions and rules for under-18 aged players revealed

Besides the trailer, the company also revealed the privacy information around the upcoming game including restrictions for underage players. Krafton has already stated that it is teaming up with Microsoft Azure to comply with all the data security and privacy requirements in India. We also know that the company will store and process the Battlegrounds Mobile India player data on Servers in India and Singapore. However, the company did note that it may transfer the player data to other locations if required.

Talking about the restrictions for players under the age of 18, they need to provide consent from their parents or legal guardians to play the game. It also requires under-aged players to provide the mobile number of their parent or guardian. If parents or the legal guardian thinks that their child/ward has not provided consent, they can ask the game developer to delete the player data from the Battlegrounds Mobile India system. Krafton has not shared any more information around this phone number requirement.

Moving to the terms of usage, Battlegrounds Mobile India noted that under 18 players can only play the game for a maximum of 3 hours a day. Krafton has also placed a limit of Rs 7,000 per day for underage players. We think that the company could have pushed it drastically lower to ensure that underage players don’t rake in huge bills for their parents or guardians. Finally, we are not sure how the company intends to verify the age of its players.
