Dragon Ball DAIMA Get Big Win at Astra 2025
Award-winning anime where Goku and friends shrink and explore the mysterious Demon Realm.

June 10, 2025 — Hollywood, CA — The anime Dragon Ball DAIMA wins the award for Best Anime Series at the Astra TV Awards 2025. The ceremony was held under the Hollywood Creative Alliance group. The show comes as a winner after competing with titles like DAN DA DAN, Fire Force Season 3, Lazarus, Solo Leveling Season 2, and The Apothecary Diaries Season 2, which all had many good responses this year.
Voice Performances and Streaming Highlights
Inside voice acting categories, Aleks Le received the award for Best Lead Voice-Over. He was doing the voice of Sung Jinwoo in Solo Leveling Season 2. Others that was nominated in same category was Stephanie Nadolny, who done Kid Goku in Dragon Ball DAIMA, and Johnny Yong Bosch for play Dante from Devil May Cry. Also, the Supporting Voice-Over category had people like Caitlin Glass (Nefertari Vivi, One Piece), Justin Briner (Yoo Jinho, Solo Leveling), and Xolo Maridueña (Heisuke Mashimo, Sakamoto Days).
The live streaming was on KNEKT TV. The app can be used on a Roku, Android, or Apple device. If somebody has not seen it live, they can still watch video clips on the Astra Awards channel on YouTube.
Dragon Ball DAIMA started airing in Japan on October 11, 2024. Crunchyroll and Hulu were showing it with subtitles same time as Japan. Netflix added it to the platform on October 14 for Asia viewers, and later on October 18 for the rest of the world. The English dubbed version began streaming on Crunchyroll in January.
The story is about Goku and his group suddenly turning small. They find out the reason may be in the Demon Realm. One strange young Majin, named Glorio, came in front of them during their search.

The voting for the Astra Awards is done by members of the Hollywood Creative Alliance. This organization is nonprofit, and it includes critics, writers, creators, and professionals from inside entertainment field. People who become members can vote for the awards.
