A fresh character trailer and visual has just been released for the upcoming anime The Stunned Hero and the Assassin Princesses. The spotlight is on Anemone, a skilled assassin who hide her true identity behind the disguise of a priest. Fans gets a glimpse of her quirky personality — she love alcohol and money, making her a fascinating addition to the story. The anime will start in July 2025.
Cast and Creative Team Behind the Anime

The anime is directed by Noriaki Akitaya, who previously work on Reborn as a Vending Machine, I Now Wander the Dungeon. Studio CONNECT are in charge of production. Michiko Yokote, known for Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill, is handling the series composition. Takao Sano designing the characters, and Shun Narita provide the music. The story comes from a manga made by Norishiro-chan and Yukiji Setsuda.
'The story focus on Toto, a hero with real skill but extreme shyness. Because he can’t gather a party, he stuck in the beginner town. That changes when three beautiful women called Ciel, Anemone, and Goa invite him to join their group. Toto is excited to finally start his adventure, but there is one dangerous catch: the womens actually want to kill him for they own reasons.'
This creates a special mix of love, fun, and adventure. The series combine a harem story with death game elements and rom-com moment. Toto’s shyness make even the presence of woman overwhelming, leading to many funny and tense scenes.
