Warzone 2's hidden gem: FSS Hurricane SMG's deadly TTK prevails post-season 4 changes
Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded has shaken up the meta with various viable weapons. Discover the potential of the FSS Hurricane SMG, a hidden gem with impressive TTK and consistency.

The Season 4 and Season 4 Reloaded updates significantly improved the Warzone 2 meta, which had previously been dominated by a single weapon. Although the Cronen Squall continues to have the highest pick rate, the meta is still in good shape.
There are a few viable weapons in the battle royale, including the ISO 45, Lachmann Sub, M13B, and Kastov 762, following a round of additional weapon balancing adjustments. These have all been singled out by various experts as being meta weapons and have good pick rates under the Squall.
However, you should think about the FSS Hurricane if you want to use something a little different and venture off the beaten path.
For Warzone 2 Season 4 Reloaded, the ideal FSS Hurricane loadout
The Warzone 2 expert 'WhosImmortal' highlighted the SMG in his video from July 30 and noted that it can compete with weapons like the ISO and Lachmann, both of which are very meta.
“It doesn’t have the craziest close-range TTK but after the 10-metre mark, when those other SMGs drop off, this doesn’t. It stays so consistent!” the YouTuber said. “It also has that 50-round mag by default so you can focus on mobility. It’s super easy (to use), the recoil is next to none here.”
The Hurricane has a TTK of roughly 700m/s inside that 10-meter line, which is extremely competitive. Given that it doesn't balloon as high as others, the fact that it can jump up to 976 metres per second through that distance is one of its major strengths.

The Hurricane has definitely declined over the past few months, despite being a good option in Warzone 2's early going. According to WZRanked statistics, it currently has a 0.6% pick rate and is the 27th most frequently used weapon in the game.
Considering that it competes with some of the standard options, that pick rate should increase a little bit once more, so try to be proactive.
