The Esports team of Asian Games 2023 will be meeting the Prime Minister today, and we can't be more pumped about this!

Such is the scenario; when Esports will finally be getting the recognition it deserves in India as the team will be meeting Prime Minister Modi at Dhyan Chand Stadium today.

This is undoubtedly BIG news for India and all our gaming lovers, as Prime Minister Narendra Modi is all set to meet India's Asian Games contingents today! This is a spectacular moment for more than just that, as it will also be the first time that the Prime Minister will be meeting the Esports players who represented India in the Asian Games. We are hoping that following their historic performance at the recently concluded sports event in Hangzhou, China, the government will now play a bigger role in acting as a stepping stone for these amazing players! 


Prime Minister Modi, who praised the remarkable accomplishments of the athletes, will host them at an event in Delhi today.  The event is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. at the Major Dhyan Chand Stadium in New Delhi, as per an official release from the Press Information Bureau (PIB).
India was represented by various talented individuals who competed in different games, at the Asian Games 2023 held in Hangzhou, China. The esports competitions took place at the China Hangzhou Esports Centre. As for the amazing lineup, we have it all covered for you!  Charanjot Singh, Karman Singh Tikka, Mayank Prajapati, Ayan Biswas, Akshaj Shenoy, Samarth Arvind Trivedi, Mihir Ranjan, Aditya Selvaraj, Aakash Shandilya, Sanindhya Malik, Darshan Bata, Krish Gupta, Abhishek Yadav, Ketan Goyal and finally, Shubham Goli. These talented individuals represented India in various esports titles at the Asian Games 2023, and their performance left a spirit of awe and pride in the spectators.

The Asian Games 2023 took place from September 23 to October 8 and marked a historic achievement for India's athletes. India became the fourth nation in the history of the Games to cross the prestigious 100-medal mark, following China, Japan, and South Korea.
