Anime fans have something new to get excited about! WIT STUDIO, the team behind Spy x Family, has announced a brand-new anime called Agents of the Four Seasons: Dance of Spring. It’s based on a light novel by Kana Akatsuki, the author of Violet Evergarden, which is known for its touching story and even won the Kyoto Animation Award in 2014.
This new anime shows a change in Kana Akatsuki’s storytelling style. The anime focuses on the Spring arc, where Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, disappeared ten years ago—taking the season of new beginnings with her. Her disappearance plunged the world into imbalance, with Spring’s warmth and beauty lost for a decade. Now, Hinagiku has finally come back, ready to bring Spring back to the world and reconnect with Winter—just like the old legends said she would.
This fantasy-romance story is all about believing in destiny. Akatsuki is great at creating characters that make you feel strong emotions. With a world inspired by myths and deep, mysterious themes, the anime promises a powerful and personal experience for each viewer.
