Asphalt Nitro: The End of an Era After a Decade of Racing

Suddenly all the players of Asphalt Nitro have received a heartbreaking notification on their mobile screens when opening the game. That is the announcement of closure and removal of the game from all the available mobile platforms. Following this the game has been delisted from Google Play Store.

After a successful 10 years of run on mobile phones, Asphalt Nitro is closing servers after 3rd March 2025.

Backstory of Asphalt NItro

The game was launched as a very low space requiring and low ram demanding game for player to enjoy their favorite racing series. The game was launched offering premium gaming experience in lighter storage space. With offerings of solid gameplay, a variety of exotic cars, and visually stunning locations, the game quickly became a loved one among the racing fans after the release of the game.

Present Situation

The announcement and delisment came without any official update from the developers Gameloft in any of their social channels. Along with that the announcement in-game didn't have reasons for the shutting down of the game. 

As there is no further information regarding the weather the player will be able to carry the in-game credits and unlocks to any other games. We better advise all the players to use the credits to get all the unlockables possible with it or.

As the game is decades old, one of the reasons for the closure might be the outdated graphics and gameplay mechanics. With the advancements in mobile gaming technology the developers might have thought it might be the right move to shift all the player base to its latest release in the series, Asphalt Legends Unite. 

Legends Unite has launched a battle pass, co-op play and many other exciting features for players to enjoy on mobile, pc and other consoles.
