Auroria’s Release: The Next Big Sci-Fi Adventure or Palworld Ripoff?
Discover the sci-fi pet taming and base-building game, Auroria, which has sparked controversy for its similarities to Palworld.

With the success of Palworld and with the huge player fan base every big developer wanted a piece of the action. After pokemon and Palworld the other big game on that wagon is xiaojiao zhang’s Auroria.
Auroria is a scifi pet taming base building game, the chinese developers have revealed the game a few months back with a very visually stunning and artistic trailer.
Gameplay Features of Auroria
The trailer features an open world map with ridable creatures, vehicles and robots. Along with creatures, the player has a companion robot which helps in building, crafting and surviving on the alien planet. Along with this there are robotic enemies with big battle mechs creating trouble for the players in the new world. It also features an interplanetary space travel too,
As the players were waiting for the release of the game on steam. From the trailer it was evident that the game is initially releasing from mobile. Auroria Android is available for download in a few select countries with more countries coming in the following months. The game was released on mobile devices on 6th January 2025.
Controversy regarding the Game
Post the release of the game many players have started to claim that the game is a blatant copy of Playworld with similar Tower like structures, base building elements, rideable creatures and the enemies. The only difference is that the game is boasting big social servers on launch but with the developers promising the game is different from palworld.

It didn't convince players the same, post the release of the mobile version many gameplay videos on youtube have turned up with thousands of views. Only the time will tell the popularity of the game.
