Beavis and Butthead arrive in Call of Duty Season 4 Reloaded with animated skins, joining Warzone and Black Ops 6 in a wild and unexpected crossover.

So, the thing is, Beavis and Butthead – yes, those cartoon guys what laughed too much on MTV in the '90s – are gonna be inside Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and also Warzone. People probably didn’t see this coming. The news has come out from Call of Duty’s official X page, where they posted some cel-looking images and, well, it’s kinda real now. Coach Buzzcut and Todd, who were also in the cartoon, also came with them.

It’s part of Season 4 Reloaded, and looks like it’s gonna happen around June 26, maybe before, maybe bit later. No one sure 100%. Based on what players say, bundle cost will be probably around 2,800 COD Points, like many bundles before it. Might include some things like weapon blueprints, voice lines, or some silly charm... but that not for sure now.
They Look Cartoony in a Serious Game
What’s strange is that these skins are cel-shaded, so they’ve got that cartoon look. That’s not common in COD, which is usually more realistic and dark colored. It does make them stand out... maybe too much. On maps like Rebirth Island, you will probably see them from far away. Some players like that weirdness. Others, not too much.
Players Feel All Over the Place
When it got revealed, fans online had mixed feelings. Some are saying it’s “funny and different,” but others are more like, “why is this happening?” One Reddit guy says:
“Bro I can’t take this game serious anymore lol”
And he’s maybe not wrong. There is a vibe going that Call of Duty is copying Fortnite with all these wacky crossovers. Not everyone’s happy with that idea.
This Type Thing Is Becoming the Norm
It’s not the first time, though. They had Snoop Dogg, Attack on Titan, Ghostface, and even Nicki Minaj earlier. So Beavis and Butthead just feels like more of that. Maybe it’s to promote their show again, which is back on Paramount+ and Comedy Central.
