The ongoing Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 Semifinals Week 1 has encountered a scheduling adjustment, with Day 3 matches now rescheduled to April 1, 2025. Originally planned for March 31, the postponement comes in observance of the Eid Al-Fitr celebrations. This stage of the tournament features 32 teams divided into four groups, competing in a round-robin format over four days to secure their place in the Grand Finals.
Revised Schedule for BGIS 2025 Semifinals Week 1 Day 3
The Semifinals Week 1 is structured to span from March 29 to April 2, 2025, with teams battling for a coveted spot in the Grand Finals. The competition includes 16 teams from the Quarterfinals and another 16 from the Wildcard stage. At the conclusion of this phase, the top eight teams will advance directly to the Grand Finals, while the remaining 24 will proceed to Semifinals Week 2 for another chance at qualification.
Following the recent change, no matches will take place on March 31. Instead, the Day 3 matches will be played on April 1, ensuring that the tournament remains on track without any major disruptions.
