The highly anticipated Semifinals of the Battlegrounds Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2025 are set to commence, with Week 1 groups now officially revealed. Following an intense Wildcard Stage, the top-performing teams have secured their spots alongside the Quarterfinalists for the next phase of the tournament.
The recently concluded Wildcard Stage featured 64 teams battling for a limited number of spots in the Semifinals. After days of fierce competition, 16 teams successfully advanced and will now compete against the top 16 teams from the Quarterfinals. This brings the total number of teams in Semifinals Week 1 to 32, all vying for a place in the Grand Finals.
Krafton India Esports officially conducted a livestreamed draw for Semifinals Week 1 groups, determining the distribution of teams across four groups.
BGIS 2025 Semifinals Week 1 Group Distribution
The 32 qualified teams have been divided into four groups, each containing eight teams:

Semifinals Week 1 Format and Schedule
The Semifinals Week 1 will take place from March 29 to April 1, 2025, following a round-robin format where teams will face off against each other in their respective groups. At the end of the four-day battle, the top eight teams will directly qualify for the Grand Finals, while the remaining 24 teams will proceed to Semifinals Week 2, where they will get one last chance to secure a spot in the final showdown.
