Black Myth Wukong Confirms Xbox Series X/S Release Date around the World

Official news from Game Science states that Black Myth: Wukong will launch for Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S on August 20, 2025, giving fans of the action RPG a much-wanted update. The game is launched now as it marks its first year since first appearing on the PlayStation 5 and PC. At Xbox launch, players using different consoles will get the chance to explore the mythical world based on Journey to the West in the game.

Upon coming out, Black Myth: Wukong became extremely popular thanks to its impressive visuals, fast action and detailed story. At the same time, a lot of fans felt upset after the Xbox release was delayed. Experts using Game Science confirmed that the game’s delay was because the Xbox S has less memory than other systems in the market. In anticipation of the Xbox release, Game Science is starting a worldwide pre-order campaign. You can pre-order the Xbox version on June 18, 2025 and a 20% discount will be given on all platforms for digital purchases during the period. The discount period is set up in the following way:

The date for PlayStation 5 sales in the month of June is set for June 18 – July 3 and June 20 – July 11 in the PC Class.
