Brawl Stars Battle for Katana Kingdom Event Preview: A Month-Long Event Full of Action, Skins, and Rewards

Brawl Star Latest Katana Kingdom Event Preview contains the list of events, date, time, and exciting rewards.

Supercell has launched its new limited-time event in Brawl Stars entitled Battle for Katana Kingdom. Running in tandem with the Season 38 premiere, the event spans four weeks, divided into themed chapters. Traders can exchange certain in-game rewards by collecting "Sushi Rolls" as a new event currency tied to game advancement.

The limited-time event, originally presented in the April Brawl Talk, includes new game modes, temporary abilities, and Japan-inspired cosmetics. The four chapters—Way of the Wasabi, Rise of the Futomaki Five, The Taste of Vengeance, and The Final Cut—launch weekly in May.

The first chapter, Way of the Wasabi, is now available. It features a Double XP weekend and a new PvPvE mode called Samurai Smash. Players battle Samurai bots and enemy Brawlers to collect Daruma Dolls in 3v3 or 5v5 setups. The win is achieved when you get to 50 or 100 dolls.
Starting May 8, the second chapter, Rise of the Futomaki Five, brings with it the Mega Buffet mode—a club equivalent of Mega Pig. Club members gain Sushi Rolls by winning games and achieving milestones. Four event tickets are awarded to players every day, and prizes are on a team contribution basis. But super achievers will not get bonuses in addition to that.

The third chapter, The Taste of Vengeance, comes out May 15. It's a co-op boss battle versus a demon-transformed version of Kenji. The mode has five escalating difficulty levels, and the rewards are behind high-level wins. Like Showdown, a surviving member will ensure play.

Finally, May 22's The Final Cut includes Daily Contests with leaderboard rewards. Players select three game modes every day and play against other players who played the same ones. The top players get Sushi Rolls, while the next two get nothing.

Wasabi Powers, Event Skins, and Free Unlockables

One of the event's top features is Wasabi Powers—temporary power increases for specific Brawlers. There are 60 of them, spread over four tiers of rarity: Hot, Extra Hot, Crazy Hot, and Inferno. They automatically activate for event-themed games upon release.

Skins are another aspect. The Katana Kingdom pack has characters like Cursed Kenji, Wanderer Gray, and Kasa-obake Piper. Players are given a special edition spray once they have accumulated all seven skins.

Sushi Rolls are the main reward system, a themed alternative to Starr Drops. They can hold other rewards and split into several Rolls, so they are more attractive. Filling the Sushi Meter by collecting Rolls will give you Cursed Kenji and Oni Kenji Hypercharge free skin.
Routine tasks, assignments, club activities, and even in-store promotions provide means of gathering these Rolls. Other surprises will be incorporated as the event unfolds.

With a combination of new game play, collectibles, and community challenges, Battle for Katana Kingdom adds something new to the competitive atmosphere of Brawl Stars this season.
