Cyberpunk 2077 Joins PS Plus July 2025: Full Lineup & What You Need to Know
Sony adds Cyberpunk 2077 to the PS Plus Game Catalog, alongside new PS4 and PS5 titles.

Sony has absolutely swung for the fences in commemorating the 15th anniversary of PlayStation Plus, with the star of the month being Cyberpunk 2077. Beginning July 15, 2025, the critically reimagined RPG from CD Projekt RED will be made available for free to all PS Plus Extra and Premium members on PS4 and PS5.

Cyberpunk 2077 has made an incredible turnaround since its disastrous launch. Frequent updates, the release of the Phantom Liberty DLC, and international popularity of the Edgerunners anime have helped bring it back into the conversation as one of the most ambitious RPGs of the decade. A sequel is in the works and Netflix announced a second season for the anime, so now is as good of a time as any for new players to explore the neon-soaked chaos of Night City.

Sony isn’t stopping at just game additions. The company will headline Tokyo Game Show 2025, teasing major reveals that could shape the future of the PS5. Hardware sales are also on a hot streak, with the PS5 outselling both Xbox and Nintendo consoles in the U.S. over recent quarters. Additionally, a brand-new State of Play airs today, July 10, featuring 20 minutes of exclusive gameplay from the upcoming PS5 exclusive Ghost of Yotei.
