No Plans for Battle Royale:

When asked about the possibility of adding a Battle Royale mode, Guo responded decisively: “We don’t have such plans for now as our primary focus is on Operations and Warfare.” This decision reflects the studio's commitment to its established gameplay identity rather than jumping into a genre many competitors dominate.

Black Hawk Down Campaign Highlights:

Guo shed light on the Black Hawk Down campaign, describing it as a homage to the franchise's roots. Set in the 1990s, the campaign embraces the legacy of classic Delta Force games while contrasting with the multiplayer’s futuristic 2035 timeline. “We are working hard to preserve and expand the Delta Force franchise,” Guo stated.

The campaign will immerse players in a nostalgic yet action-packed narrative inspired by historical events. Development progress for the campaign is reportedly “coming along nicely,” with the mode on track for a Q1 2025 release.

Multiplayer in evolution:

A multiplayer segment that covers new grounds for Delta Force takes the future-themed whole trip early in 2035. It complements the campaign in the present, extending the franchise's appeal even more.

What's coming up next?

Guo is also promising the team will have more updates for everyone as time gets closer to the launch of the Black Hawk Down campaign in January of 2025. "Our team will share more news when it's closer to the campaign's launch," he reassured fans.

While many new-age shooters are building play modes of Battle Royale for the mass audience, Delta Force is focusing on such established classic campaigns and modes that touch entirely new grounds differently. Anyone who desires a tactical, story-accomplished event can await the launch of this game soon, which will boast more details to come.
