Fortnite Leak Reveals “Six Stack” OG Game Mode: Here's Everything You Need To Know

A new Fortnite leak teases the “Six Stack” mode, featuring 6-player squads, OG building, and 78-player lobbies. Here's everything we know so far.

We have seen a new leak of Fortnite, which kind of mixes things. There is something that might be coming soon called something like Six Stack, and according to one of the better-known leakers, @Loolo_WRLD, Epic is already testing it. Essentially, this new game mode will consist of a change that makes teams consist of six people rather than four, and the matches might consist of a total of 78 players, which is a huge change in comparison to how an average team is composed.

What Is The Six-Stack System

What’s also interesting is that “Six Stack” may be tied to Fortnite’s OG gameplay. The leak mentioned it’ll have the classic building system, which older players still really enjoy using. If this turns out to be true, then the mode could end up mixing that nostalgic feel with something more chaotic because of the larger team sizes and more going on in each match.

Another thing the leak points out is a possible event called “Wacky Weekends.” It’s not explained fully, but it sounds like special modifiers could show up on weekends. Stuff like maybe different storm speeds, or extra loot, or maybe some rules just changing randomly to make things more unpredictable and possibly funnier to play.

Six Players Means More Mayhem

If this all gets confirmed, then “Six Stack” might be a nice surprise during what’s already a very packed Fortnite season. Chapter 5, Season 3, “Wrecked,” has already brought Blitz Royale back, some mythics, and things like Superman’s Heat Vision. With players still showing love for OG content, something like this could really click.

Six people on one squad would possibly allow more strategy and more interaction between members and, honestly, more instances where insane stuff takes place. It can even seem to be a party game but remains competitive.

Epic has not yet said anything about this officially, though, but consider this mode activated as soon as the tests turn positive; perhaps we will be hearing more news about this mode soon. The fans will surely continue to watch out for it.
