Fortnite fans are all hyped up as the big day is almost here. On June 7, 2025, at 2 PM ET, Epic Games is doing a massive live event that’s gonna be part of Summer Game Fest 2025. Everyone is talking about the big Galactic Battle finale, and the teaser already dropped, showing what seems like a real fight happening inside the Death Star. Yeah, you heard that right, the Death Star, like from Star Wars.

In the teaser, there’s a lot of crazy action going on. Players look like they wearing Stormtrooper clothes, and there are space fights with TIE Fighters and stuff. It also looks like every skin turns into Stormtroopers for this event, which is kinda cool but also kinda weird. It makes the whole thing look like a movie, not just a game.

People say another teaser is coming on Thursday, and it might show more fighting or maybe even Darth Vader, who knows?

Season Starts Right After, No Break Time

After the event ends, the new season starts right away. No waiting. Epic is already taking servers down for maintenance, so it’s probably a big update. Here’s what’s new:

• No more V-Bucks cards – now it’s gift cards, and one has this new Ghost Monks skin
