Epic Games has officially revealed the action-packed trailer for Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2: Lawless, bringing with it an adrenaline-fueled season of crime, mayhem, and high-stakes heists. This season is coming on February 21, 2025, and brings a new set of weapons, destinations, mechanics, and a surprise crossover character.
High-Stakes Heists & Ruthless Rivalries
The trailer begins with Dill, a key figure of the season, pulling off a bank heist. His success is not long-lasting, though, as he is ambushed by an armoured van driven by a woman and run down to have his gold stolen. That pivotal opening establishes the tone for the season in which prosperity is within one's sights, yet dangers lurk around every corner.
Explosive Arsenal: Sticky Grenade Launcher Returns
One of the biggest highlights is the comeback of the Sticky Grenade Launcher, a fan-favourite weapon for its strategic explosiveness. Also making its debut are the brand-new Meltanite Charges, enabling players to blow open vaults and break into vans easily. These explosive devices will be crucial in planning daring heists around the map.
New POI: The Gold Mine, Weapon Cases & Strategic Loadouts
A brand-new underground location, The Gold Mine, emerges as a crucial battleground. Boasting a sophisticated monorail system for quick traversal, this gold-studded hideout is set to be an ideal location for close-quarters battles and hefty rewards.
The reveal of wall-mounted weapon cases suggests a new weapons room system in which players can unlock or buy weapons by way of in-game gold. These colour-coded cases based on Fortnite's rarity system might add a new level of strategy to loadout management.
