OG Season 2, New Weapons, Kong Boss Rumors, and Fresh Collaborations Arrive in v33.30
OG Season 2 Returns
Players can relive Fortnite’s golden era with the return of OG Season 2. The update also includes an OG S2 Battle Pass, though it remains unclear whether past Battle Pass rewards will be accessible.
New Weapons, Items, and Unvaulted Gear
The legendary Zapatron returns, as well as more unvaulted weapons and new additions. Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle is added to Creative mode. New limited-time modes and a mini-pass may be included, which could be related to Demon Slayer.
Godzilla Vaulted, Possible Kong Boss
The Godzilla collaboration exits the game, but speculation hints at the arrival of a King Kong boss. Epic Games has yet to confirm details, but in-game files may reveal more after the update.
Map Changes and Events
The update introduces fresh Points of Interest (POIs) and map changes. Data miners have also uncovered hints of mini live-event files, suggesting that an in-game event could be on the horizon.
New Shop Collaborations
The Item Shop is expanding with new skins, cosmetics, and potential crossovers. Collaborations may include Demon Slayer, Cars, and Hatsune Miku-themed car cosmetics. Additionally, a Fortnite × Nintendo promo offers the OG “On the Hook” emote for free with the purchase of a PowerA controller.
