FragPunk Takes Strong Action Against Cheating, Bans 184 Accounts in Latest Sweep
FragPunk bans 184 accounts to maintain fair play and competitive integrity.

FragPunk, developed by Bad Guitar Studio, has reiterated its firm stance against cheating by permanently banning 184 player accounts between May 26 and June 1 for serious violations involving the use of unauthorized software and other unfair practices. This move reflects the ongoing efforts of FragPunk’s Anti-Cheat team to uphold a balanced and competitive environment within the game.
The studio emphasized that all bans were imposed only after thorough investigations involving both automated detection systems and manual reviews, ensuring that each case was supported by clear evidence in accordance with their User Agreement. Alongside these permanent bans, four additional accounts faced penalties for collaborating with cheaters; these players were restricted from matchmaking and had any rank points acquired through unfair means revoked.
FragPunk’s developers underscored the importance of community cooperation in preserving competitive integrity, stating that victory should be achieved through skill rather than exploitation. They reaffirmed their no-tolerance policy, highlighting that their anti-cheat unit remains vigilant and proactive in countering attempts to disrupt the fairness of gameplay.
