Key Features and Additions
1. Zone Damage Indicator:
Based on community feedback, OB48 introduces the Zone Damage Indicator, showing how much damage players suffer in the poisonous zones. This new addition will enhance players' knowledge of their environment and allow them to craft more useful survival techniques as the environments within the game continue to get riskier.
2. Lone Wolf Duel Mode:
For players who enjoy solo play, the Lone Wolf Duel mode will take the place of the old 1v1 custom matches. This hardcore mode pits teammates against one another in head-to-head duels, bringing a competitive element to the game and enabling players to challenge themselves in a more intimate, intense environment.
3. New Revival Points:
To improve tactical gameplay, two new revival points are added as part of OB48: below the Mill and the Clock Tower. These strongholds will yield new team-play opportunities and restore dead teammates in new and varied ways.
4. Weekly Gold Limit:
A weekly cap of 20,000 gold will be in effect, allowing for more even progress. There will be the opportunity to accumulate up to the limit in gold per week, with a Monday morning reset at 4 AM.
5. Trampoline Grenade:
For some added playful fun, the Trampoline Grenade has been added, giving players two jumps before it vanishes. The grenade auto-recharges and provides the player with the opportunity to outmanoeuvre others and move around obstacles in a creative way.
6. Launch Pad at Mill:
A new Permanent Launch Pad has been installed within the Mill, allowing players to jump as much as 450 meters off the ground. With this feature added, players gain a new mid-air benefit and new possibilities of map traversal and evading fatal situations.
7. AWM Scope Adjustments:
The AWM scope refresh also serves snipers, where enemies are now indicated in red when in their targeting reticles. This helps make players detect and kill targets more easily at a distance.
8. Holi Festival - Unlimited Ammo:
As part of the Holi celebration, the OB48 update will contain an Instant-Free AMMO Limited-Time event. This event will give players temporary unlimited ammunition for specific weapons, providing an extra exciting twist to gameplay during the festival.
9. New Radar System in Battle Royale:
