Genshin Impact 5.6 banners: All 5-star and 4-star banners in new update

Genshin Impact 5.6 Update Release Date and Time (Global Release)

The Genshin Impact 5.6 update will go live on May 7, 2025. However, before that, it would go through a server maintenance so that all the bugs and glitches can get ironed out before the update is rolled out for the players. The release time will be different for every region. Here are all the release timings for every region: 

• West Coast US: Tuesday, 6 May, 8 pm (PT)
• Central US: Tuesday, 6 May, 10 pm (CT)
• East Coast US: Tuesday, 6 May, 11 pm (ET)
• India: Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at 8:30 am (IST)
• Japan: Wednesday, 7 May, noon (JST)
• Australia: Wednesday, 7 May, 1 pm (AET)
• UK: Wednesday, 7 May, 4 am (BST)
• Europe: Wednesday, 7 May, 5 am (CEST)

Genshin Impact 5.6 Banners

The banners will be released in a phased manner. When the update goes live, the first will get activated. Here are the characters you will get in this update:

5-Star Characters:

• Escoffier: A new 5-star Cryo polearm-wielding character. Her banner is "La Chanson Cerise."
• Navia: A returning 5-star Geo claymore-wielding character. Her banner is "In the Name of the Rosula."

4-Star Characters:

• Ifa: A new 4-star Anemo catalyst-wielding character, will have a greater drop rate on both Escoffier and Navia's banners. The rest of the revealed 4-star characters are still unconfirmed.
• 5-Star Weapons (Epitome Invocation):
• Symphonist of Fragrances (Polearm): Hoped to be Escoffier's signature weapon.
• Verdict (Claymore): Hoped to be Navia's signature weapon.
• The 4-star weapons on this banner are still unannounced.

Phase 2 (May 27, 2025 - June 17, 2025):

5-Star Characters:

• Kinich: A re-joining 5-star Dendro character holding a Claymore. His banner is named "Seeker of Flame-Wrought Secrets."
• Raiden Shogun: A re-joining 5-star Electro character holding a Polearm. Her banner is named "Reign of Serenity."
• 4-Star Characters: The 4-star characters redeemable from these banners have not been officially announced.

Genshin Impact 5.6 Update 5-Star Weapons

• Fang of the Mountain King (Claymore): Speculated to be Kinich's emblematic weapon.
• Engulfing Lightning (Polearm): Speculated to be Raiden Shogun's emblematic weapon.
• The 4-star weapons on this banner are yet to be disclosed.
