The Genshin Impact 5.7 livestream that was shown today (June 6, 2025) has brought lots of new info and exciting things. Skirk, which fans were waiting for, finally appeared, and there’s a new Hydro character too, Dahlia. Also, Dainsleif returns again to continue story that players have been wondering for some time now.
New Characters: Skirk and Dahlia

Skirk is a Cryo sword fighter, five-star and seems like people are excited. Her abilities weren’t shown fully, but expectations are already high. She could become top tier, maybe even more than Ayaka.

Dahlia, four-star Hydro, will also come. Her role is not clear yet but she is probably good for healing or extra Hydro damage. Some say she is not strong, but maybe she fits niche teams better.
Dainsleif Comes Again
Dainsleif’s return was kind of surprise but also not really. His part in the Khaenri’ah story line still has many secrets. In 5.7, it looks like we will see more from him and maybe learn what he doing really. Fans who like lore are surely happy about this reveal.
