Base Stats and weapon Details
Azurelight is a 5 star sword whose base ATK is 674 and secondary stat is 22.1% Crit Rate (level 90). Its design and stat distribution shows that it is heavily skewed towards damage production, and would thus benefit characters that use skills and bursts frequently.
Passive Weapon Skill- White Mountain Bounty
Azurelight passive is a great damage booster to its wielder following an Elemental Skill. The effect provides 24% to 48% ATK bonus (based on the level of refinement) during 12 seconds. Remarkably, when the wielder lacks Energy (0 Energy) when the effect is proc-ed, an extra ATK bonus equal to its value is provided, and Crit DMG increases by 40% to 80%.

This stratified mechanic is a reward to those that time their skills and energy management. It fits great with the special combat system of Skirk, in which players switch between the stance prioritizing heavy attacks with a sword and the position taking advantage of Elemental Burst opportunities.
Synergies with Skirk kit
Skirk plays both into the idea of aggressive and fast play, entering empowered states frequently by rushing her Energy low and then using her Zoom ability to get in close. Azurelight takes full advantage of this play by making the Energy drawback a tactical bonus. Those players capable of handling her timing and rotations will have an Azurelight that not only increases the amounts produced by Skirk but her consistency as a main DPS unit.
Overall Assessment
Azurelight is more than a signature weapon lore-wise: it is mechanically geared towards making Skirk perform at his best. The weapon is not just a best-in-slot but an essential investment into the potential of the players that intend to build her in the most efficient way possible. Azurelight confirms the further tendency in Genshin Impact to design weapons that are closely integrated into the character and his/her role.
