Grow A Garden July Patch Brings Corrupted Event, New Pets, Mutations, and Code

Grow A Garden's July 26 update introduces the Corrupted Event, new pets, genetic mutations, a redeem code, and major gameplay changes.

The July 26 update for Grow A Garden has come and brought with it the Corrupted Event that players had been waiting for. This patch is full of strange changes, from pets becoming mutated to gardens not being what they were before. There has also been a new code released that helps many to start fast. The corrupted time has now begun.

The event has started: The Garden has Become Not Normal Now

The main point of the update is the Corrupted Event, and now everything in the garden looks changed. Where before there was a bright flower, now there is a dark one with vines and black leaves. Some new enemies show up in these zones, and if you defeat them, they will give you Event Coins and Corrupted Pet Seeds. Some also drop DNA that is for pet change.

The event will not be here forever, so players must go fast to do daily tasks. When you complete these tasks, it lets you go to the Corrupted Greenhouse, where special pets hatch. But for that, you need Event Tokens, which can only be gotten from event actions.

Mutating Pet and new types also get added.

The patch also brings with it some new pets. These are corrupted-looking, with glowing eyes and thorn-like skin. Pets like Twilight Rose and Corrupted Sprout are getting a lot of talk because they work well with the mutation system.

The mutation is one big new mechanic. With a DNA sample, a player can change a pet into another form. That form has a new skill, a stronger number, and looks shinier. Some pets also get a glow or aura, which makes it easy to tell them from normal ones. This gives more ways for players to make pets strong and more different.

There is new code in the game; it is “CORRUPTEDBLOOM,” and when it is entered, it gives you a crate, some Event Coins, and a DNA piece. This code is not going to stay long, so better to take it soon before it's gone.

A few other things were fixed, too. The pet was walking wrong sometime before, but is now better. Also, the garden loading had gotten better. The developer says in the message that this is only the first part of the event, and the second half will happen next month, maybe.

This update brings many new things, but also changes the feeling of Grow A Garden. Now is darker, but also exciting. Players are exploring and trying new pet things in ways that were not possible before.
