Skill Mechanics

The Skill behavior of Cerydra lets her choose one of her allies and give them a Rank stack and put them into Attack increasing and generally damaging others during several turns. This simple supportive measure sets a stage to more influential interactions, in particular, with her passive skills.

Ultimate Ability

The Ultimate ability releases Wind damage to every enemy. More to the point, it connects dynamically with the Rank system. One of the first allied characters in the turn order line up have any Rank stacks in the account; increasing Crit Damage gain with subsequent stacks. Cerydra is also such an effective force as an off-turn damage dealing hero since she is capable of following up damage using Wind damage after other heroes end their turns.

Talent and Traces

Rank stacking is constantly benefited by the Cerydra Talent, until finally giving the most effective ally an additional benefit: a turn. There is the value of her Traces as well she gets Crit Damage when the team attacks exceed certain values, increases Speed, her own and fellow Rank bosses, and also regains Energy based on actions of her teammates. One Trace even gives Energy at the beginning of battle allowing quicker Ultimate cycles.

Eidolon Enhancements

  • E1 allows Rank allies to ignore enemy DEF and grants extra turns (once per combat).
  • E2 buffs all damage dealt by Rank allies, including Cerydra.
  • E4 improves her Ultimate’s damage multiplier.
  • E6 increases RES Penetration for Rank allies and boosts Cerydra’s own bonus damage.

Should these initial trickles turn out to be true, Cerydra will be a very useful merit-manipulating support unit that has a unique Rank system that fosters cooperation and synergy. Her power to boost the speed at which a team performs combined with providing steady, regular Wind damage will make her of decent potential in the PvE, as well as Simulated Universe, builds. Although fans have to wait to get an official confirmation, she already promises to be a very enticing choice as a new player who likes to exert influence in a supporting role.
