This comes as part of a broader set of anniversary rewards and could offer players a much-needed opportunity to expand their rosters. With the game currently celebrating its second anniversary, developer HoYoverse has been handing out various in-game rewards, including 1,600 Stellar Jades and a free limited 5-star character.

This comes at a time when Honkai: Star Rail has faced mounting criticism over its lack of new 4-star characters. While the game has introduced an impressive 45 five-star units, bolstered by the recent addition of Castorice in Version 3.2, only 23 four-star characters are currently available. The most recent 4-star, Moze, was revealed in July 2024, and no new ones have been added since.
