Here are the top 3 attack strategies that can 3-star any TH 16 base.
1). Super Archer Blimp
This is a simple yet very effective attack strategy that can take down any TH-16 base. The troops consist of 11 Balloons, 8 Dragons, 1 Electro Dragon, 3 Dragon Riders with 3 Super Archers, 2 Sneaky Goblin and 1 Super Wall Breaker in the clan castle. With the filled army camps, the combination of 2 Clone spells, 1 Rage spell, and 6 Invisibility spells with a Battle Blimp will be great to shatter your opponents. I prefer using Phoenix, Unicorn, Diggy, and Spirit Fox with King, Queen, Grand Warden, and Royal Champion, respectively, but the selection of pets can be flexible with this strategy.
The general process to use this attack strategy: The attack starts with a funnel using a king and queen from two different edges of a side. After the basic funnelling is done, the army must be spammed between the funnel along with Blimp and Warden. Half of the hustle has already ended. Use the early Eternal Tome ability of the Warden (Blimp must be in the ability), and just after the ability ends, drop the blimp along with both the clone spells and the rage spell, and periodically drop the invisibility spells to keep the CC troops invisible. It is suppressing, and we can see how easily this army shatters any TH-16 base.
2) Root Overgrowth
This is one of the most overpowered attack strategies in COC. The army consists of 2 Archers, 1 Wizard, 8 Root Riders, 1 Minion, 7 Valkyries, 2 Headhunters, 1 Apprentice Warden and 4 Druid with 3 Rage spells, 3 Overgrowth spells, 1 Freeze spell, and 1 Poison spell, along with Siege Barracks.
The general process to use this attack strategy: Create a funnel deploying King along with Siege Barracks on one corner and 1 Root Rider with 2 Valkyries and 1 Wizard on the other corner of the same side. After the funnel is made, drop all root riders between your funnel with the heroes, followed by overgrowth spells on the areas giving maximum damage and poison to the opponent’s CC troops. Finish the base with 3 stars using the heroes abilities.
3) Electro Dragon spam
This is the easiest army to handle because it can strike down any base with three stars. The army consists of 8 Electro Dragons, 1 Baby Dragon, and 24 Balloons (including CC) with 4 Rage spells, 6 Freeze spells, and a Battle Blimp.
The general process to use this attack strategy: Just like any other attack, it starts with the funneling with the Archer Queen and Barbarian King on one edge and 1 Balloon and 1 Baby Dragon respectively, on the other edge of the same side. After the funnel is done, it is time for spam, as the name suggests. Deploy all the Electro Dragons and Balloons between the funnel, along with the Grand Warden, Royal Champion, and Battle Blimp. Follow the group of Electro Dragons and keep raging them throughout the base, and in no time, you will get 100% destruction.
