'Kamla,' the Indian horror game inspired by folklore and urban legends, is coming to mobile devices on February.

Mad Mantra Games has announced that its highly anticipated horror game, Kamla, will be available on mobile devices starting February 8, 2025. The reveal was made through an unsettling video posted on Instagram.

Pre-Registration Now Available

Fans eager to experience the chilling adventure can pre-register for *Kamla* on the Google Play Store for Android. While the iOS pre-registration details are yet to be confirmed, the game will launch on both platforms simultaneously.

A Unique Take on Indian Horror

The game Kamla takes the player back to the 1980s in a rural India setting, brewing an intense atmosphere drawing from local myths and urban legends. It is based on the real-life experience of a Tantrik priest conducting an exorcism from demons on a newly married bride, Kamla. It is Beyond survival horror and complex puzzles set in a mansion loaded with dark family secrets. 
Gameplay and Features

  • Rituals of the Exorcism and the Puzzle: The players have to explore this mansion, collect sacred items for the exorcism, and solve unique puzzles to unlock the hidden items and have their way through hindrances.
  • Survival Horror: Tantrik priest needs to hide and avoid being in contact with Kamla during her unfriendly phase keeping the ritual items intact.

Kamla evokes the genuine atmosphere of 1980s, with its creepy horror of rural India, in striking pictures and sound designing, which further augments the experience.
