League of Legends Patch 25.13 Brings Champion Balancing, Item Tweaks & More!
League of Legends Patch 25.13 introduces buffs, nerfs, item changes, and ARAM tweaks to shake up the meta ahead of upcoming summer events.

Riot Games released the new Patch 25.13 for League of Legends, and lots is going on. It’s not a big update, but still had some important changes that are going to affect how champions play out, especially in ranked and maybe also in pro plays. This patch is kind of like a clean-up before summer events comes in next month. Let’s go inside.
Buffs and Nerfs
A bunch of champs got changed again, some for good, some maybe not much needed.
Buffed Champions:
-
Kassadin is now tougher with more base health and stronger shield on his Q. So he will not die too fast early and can still jump in fights later.
-
Leona got more armor and her Q cooldown is shorter now, which means she’s more annoying in early skirmishes again.
Nerfed Champions:
-
Corki got hit with nerfs on his package cooldown, because he was just doing too many roams and players did not enjoy that much.
-
Kindred isn’t as scary now because her E damage is going to be bit less, so jungle clear becomes slower and ganks don’t kill instantly.
Changed Champions:
-
Jax and Kayn had some tweaks with their passives and damage numbers. Riot says this helps them be better in all skill levels, but we will see.
System Changes and Items
Also some items get touched this time, and Riot tries to deal again with healing situation.
-
Grievous Wounds was nerfed a little. So items like Chempunk Chainsword and Mortal Reminder don’t cut healing as hard, maybe too soft now.
-
Crown of the Shattered Queen now gives more AP and works nicer with control mages.
-
Doran’s Blade lost some life steal, so less healing in early fights.
ARAM fans will find some numbers moved around, like usual.
-
Zed takes +5% more damage now. So he probably dies faster than before.
-
Lulu and Janna do not heal or shield so much, to make things less spammy in teamfights.
Couple bugs got fix, such like Illaoi tentacle looking weird or Akali’s smoke not working properly with item effects. Ping visuals and jungle timers are cleaned up too, which is nice for all players.
This patch maybe not change everything, but it still shift the meta little bit. Some champs going to rise, others go quiet. Riot has hinted more stuff is coming, maybe something bigger soon. So let’s wait for 25.14 next month and see what happens.
