A Lot of Minigames and LEGO Nostalgia

This game’s idea it’s kinda like Mario Party, but with a heavy LEGO flavor added all over. You're gonna be playing through like 60 kinds of minigames, which is, honestly, quite a lot, with Challenge Zones based on well-known themes like LEGO Pirates, NINJAGO and even that old-school LEGO Space.

Players run around trying to grab Golden Bricks, which seems to be the main thing you gotta do. There are also traps and power-ups you can do to sabotage others or speed ahead. It can get messy, but that's the fun.

Multiplayer and Crazy Customizations

Up to four players can play together – either on same couch or online. And cross-platform is in, so doesn’t matter which system you got. That’s good news because not all friends have same console.

Customization is no joke here. You could make a billion combinations of LEGO minifigs – which sounds like an exaggeration, but that’s what they said. You get to make your own weird guy or gal and show them off in-game.

Who’s Making It Anyway?

Fictions, is their first game as a publisher. They’re new but with old faces from the game world. Evan Icenbice, who’s one of the executive folks, said this game is about fun and creativity and also competition. It’s supposed to feel like LEGO – fun and free, but also about beating your pals a little.

The LEGO Group seems pretty confident too, and they wouldn’t be lending their name if they weren’t sure.

Coming Soon... Eventually

No exact date but the year is 2025, so not forever to wait. It’s coming physically to PS5, Xbox Series, and Switch, and digitally too on PC and older-gen consoles. LEGO fans old and young might find this a good one to grab. With lots of games inside and chaos all over, LEGO Party! might be just the right kind of brick-based madness.
