The highly anticipated online mech combat game, Mecha Break, developed by Amazing Seasun Games, is set to roll out a fresh open beta phase alongside the introduction of a brand-new PvPvE mode. The testing period will be available for both PC and Xbox Series X|S, giving players an opportunity to dive into its latest gameplay innovations.
New Mode: Mashmak Brings Extraction-Style Battles
A significant addition in this beta is Mashmak, a new PvPvE extraction mode where pilots will engage in intense battles across the Maskmak Isles. In this mode, players will not only compete against each other but will also have to strategically deploy equipment like weapons and gliders to gain control of key locations. The mode is designed to test both combat skills and tactical decision-making, adding a fresh dynamic to the game.
Extended Beta Period and Gameplay Features
The open beta is scheduled to begin on February 23 and will continue until March 16. It will feature cross-play support between PC and Xbox Series consoles, ensuring a wider player base can experience the game together. Players will have access to:
- Opening tutorial and introduction
- Character and mech customization
- Explorable space station
- Three primary game modes (including Mashmak)
- A training area for honing combat skills
- Thirteen different mechs (referred to as "Strikers")
Gameplay Enhancements and System Updates
The beta will also bring several quality-of-life improvements, including:
- Updated maps for 6v6 Operation VERGE and 3v3 Ace Arena
- New player reputation system
- Balance tweaks for Strikers
