Mobile Legends: Bang Bang welcomes its 128th hero, Kalea, on the Advanced Server. Kalea is a hybrid Support/Fighter with exceptional crowd control (CC), sustain, and mobility, which makes her a force to be reckoned with in team battles. Kalea uses her aquatic-inspired abilities to control Water Zones to improve her attacks and heal teammates. She will launch on the Original Server in March 2025.

Playstyle & Strengths
Kalea's Water Zones increase her damage and maintenance, which makes her a nuisance in long duels. Her low-cooldown Wavebreaker can provide poke damage and wave clear, while Tidal Strike provides her with phenomenal mobility for peeling and repositioning.
Her double knock-up mechanic renders her a deadly initiator, guaranteeing maximum disruption during team fights. Tsunami Slam, on the other hand, isolates high-value targets, making her a great counter-pick to weak backline heroes such as mages and marksmen.
Hero Overview & Abilities
Kalea's adaptable skill set makes her a superior Roamer who can disorient foes and protect friends. Her knock-up attacks and healing capabilities make her an integral playmaker in protracted fights. Kalea, with excellent sustain and mobility, performs well in team fights and excels in strategically engaging and disengaging.
Passive – Surge of Life:
- Casting a skill creates a Water Zone, enhancing her next three Basic Attacks:
- Dash Attack – Deals Physical Damage.
- Flurry Strike – Strikes multiple times, damaging enemies and healing allies.
- Tail Slam – Deals AoE damage and generates another Water Zone.
First Skill – Wavebreaker:
- Cooldown: 4s
- Type: AoE
- Slams the ground and in front of her, causing a wave to propel forward and deal Physical Damage to those in its way.
Second Skill – Tidal Strike:
- Cooldown: 13s – 11s
- Type: Mobility + CC
- Dash dashes forward with a knock-up to the initial enemy hit for 0.6s. If she hits a Water Zone or into an obstacle, she leaps up and crashes for a second airborne knock-up.
Ultimate – Tsunami Slam:
- Cooldown: 55s
- Type: CC + Ao
- Picking up an enemy with her tail and slamming them onto the ground, dealing massive AoE Physical Damage.
Kalea excels as a wandering Support, providing CC, sustain, and mobility. She is a solid choice for team fights and ganks, but she can be difficult against poke-focused mages such as Pharsa and Yve, or high-burst assassins like Eudora and Gusion. Her crowd control and sustain make her a meta-applicable pick, particularly in a hybrid Support/Fighter role.
