The Mobile Legends: Bang Bang Mid-Season Cup (MSC) 2025 Wild Card stage at the Esports World Cup (EWC) in Riyadh is picking up pace. With two days of high-stakes matches done, only four teams are still in, each close to grabbing a spot in the MSC Group Stage. Day 2 had strong wins, rematches, and showed more of who’s likely to move forward.

Day 2 Results Recap

  • Group A – Winners’ Match: Rare Atom 2 – 0 Legion Esports (2:30 PM KSA)

Rare Atom came in strong, rolled over Legion with solid rotations and teamfights. The team from China was the first to lock in a Wild Card Playoff spot.

  • Group A – Elimination Match: The Mongolz 2 – 0 Team Falcon (4:30 PM KSA)

With the home crowd behind them, The Mongolz bounced back, knocking out Team Falcon and staying in the lower bracket.

  • Group B – Winners’ Match: Virtus.pro 2 – 1 Influence Rage (6:30 PM KSA)

The series went to all three games. Virtus.pro held on and closed it out, barely getting past the aggressive Latin American squad.

  • Group B – Elimination Match: ZETA DIVISION 2 – 1 Niightmare Esports (8:30 PM KSA)

ZETA got back on track after their Day 1 loss, beating Niightmare Esports with better map control and cleaner fights.

What’s Next: Day 3 Playoffs

With the Wild Card stage wrapping up on July 12, Day 3 features three big matches:

  • Lower-Bracket Finals: Last chance for teams to stay in.

  • Crossover Semifinals (Bo3): Winners and survivors from both groups face off.

  • Crossover Final (Bo5): One team moves on to the MSC 2025 Group Stage.

The main Group Stage begins July 23. Sixteen top MLBB teams will compete in a Bo3 double-elimination format. Matches run through early August, ending with the grand final.
