New Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube Anime Set for July Launch
Hell Teacher Nube reboot anime airs July 2025 with new manga on Shonen Jump+ this May.

A fresh anime reboot of Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube will debut in Japan on July 2, 2025. The new show will get a two-episode debut on the TV Tokyo network and broadcast for two consecutive courses, giving viewers a more extended experience.
Along with the release of the anime, a fresh manga entitled Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube PLUS will begin serialization as well. The manga, which features artwork by Takeshi Okano and was originally created by Sho Makura, will be available on Shueisha's online platform Shonen Jump+ beginning May 14, 2025.
The first Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube manga was serialized from 1993 to 1999 in Weekly Shonen Jump. It lasted for 31 collected volumes and gained a loyal fan base due to its blend of supernatural touches and school life story.
The new anime is being produced by Studio KAI and will be directed by Yasuyuki Oishi. Series composition work will be done by Yoshiki Okusa, and Yuu Yoshiyama will be designing the characters. Evan Call will compose the music.
Located in Domori town, the story revolves around a kind homeroom teacher named only "Nube." His friendly exterior hides a massive secret—Japan's only psychic teacher. He also carries a demon's aura trapped in his left hand, which is a curse and a blessing, according to legend.
When unexplained paranormal phenomena begin to disturb the tranquility, Nube steps in to safeguard his pupils. Ranging from ghostly apparitions to urban myths that haunt the school, he turns to his spiritual powers to face evil forces within the area.

The series blends action, suspense, and horror elements with strong emotional content based on its lead character. The new series aims to bring the old one to new viewers while giving long-time fans an updated revisit of Jigoku Sensei Nube's universe.
