A wave of updates is arriving for multiple mobile games, bringing new announcements and performance changes across New State Mobile, Warzone Mobile, Indus Extraction, and FAUG.
The New State Mobile development team has teased an official dev letter due out before the end of February. Though the recent update in February added content and performance improvements, fans are holding out for significant updates. The Dev Letter should set out the game's future vision, and if it does not bring meaningful improvement, fears over the game's longevity may be heightened.
Warzone Mobile, Indus Extraction, and FAUG Get Major Updates
Warzone Mobile just had a Season Reload patch, with an emphasis on optimization. Some players experience smoother gameplay, but there are still short frame drops. Most feel that the game is not yet at the same level as its competitor, Delta Force Mobile.
A new addition to the battle royale scene, Indus Extraction, is a different variant of Indus Battle Royale. The game is listed as "Coming Soon" on the Play Store, requiring a VPN set to Brazil for access. Leaked images suggest robotic enemies and spaceship combat, hinting at fresh mechanics distinct from the main Indus game.
At the same time, FAUG: Domination went through a playtest, revealing better graphics and smoother character animation. Developers made efforts to tighten movement and the general fluidity of gameplay. Though some gamers couldn't take part in the test, impressions indicate the game continues to take inspiration from Call of Duty, prompting worries over originality.
