Nintendo Music App Adds Full New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe Soundtrack with 90 Tracks
Nintendo Music updates with New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe album featuring 90 tracks, including boss themes, Yoshi versions, and more.

Nintendo went and did it again—launched the revamped Nintendo Music app, something which only recipients of Nintendo Switch Online can really benefit from. They included New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe soundtrack, that particular one which came out on the Switch back in 2019. All these are part of Nintendo's regular weekly stuff which they have been doing recently.
Which tracks were included?
So with this new drop, you're getting 90 tracks, and that's a whole lot more. The combined runtime is about 2 hours and 7 minutes, which is kinda long for a game soundtrack. It goes from the Title Theme all the way through to the Credits music. I mean, you're getting all the best ones—Ground Theme, Underground, Desert, and even that water-y Coast one.
And then there are the variations. There are the "Hurry Up!" sets, the "Baby Yoshi" themes, and even boss music when things get hot. There have even been some weird ones like Secret Island and Superstar Road added to the mix, which you don't hear much about.
Some Songs Stood Out More
There's not much that stands out. Such as:
- Ground Theme (Baby Yoshi) – it's kind of bouncy and playful
- Bowser Battle 2 (Hurry Up!) – fast-paced and puts pressure on you
- World: Superstar Road – it's like you actually completed something massive
It's great how the music adapts according to what's going on in the game.
Why Bother Listening?
Well, below are some reasons why you should give it a shot:
- It's All There – This one actually has every little version. Most soundtracks don't, but this one does
- You Can Keep It Playing – Over two hours of music, so it's good for background while you get stuff done
- New Music Each Week – They've been regularly adding content since early this year, including Super Mario Bros. 2 and even Yoshi's Story more recently
Where and How You Get It?
In order to get this soundtrack, you must follow these steps:
- Download Nintendo Music app (iOS or Android)
- Be a member of Nintendo Switch Online
- Look for New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe on the list
- You can listen or set it to repeat, with 15, 30, or 60-minute loops
More Music Maybe Coming?
They already have a collection of NES, SNES, and even newer game albums. It is expected now that fans would want other games like Mario Sunshine or even 3D World to be added next. Online fanatics are posting about it and how great it would be if they were added.
Wrapping It Up
The album is nice, and if you like Mario songs or just want to relax to some game music, then this album is a good option. It's filled with different feels, and although you never played this game, the music is nice to hear nonetheless.
