Get ready! Nintendo Pre-orders will be out on April 2, if a now-deleted blog post by Best Buy Canada holds true! If so, then the timings will align on the exact same day as the upcoming Nintendo Direct. Let’s get into it.

The blog post appeared on March 27th before it was promptly deleted. Yet, an archived version of that post still exists, where people could sign up for preorder alerts. Although, we can consider it as an unfortunate leak- does that really hold true? Throughout the article, there was no mention of the price or release date of the Nintendo 2- so, was this all a marketing tactic or an actual error?
Nintendo Direct Timings
While Nintendo hasn’t officially confirmed the pre-orders yet, the Direct will occur on the same day. So, regardless of what happens- major updates will come. The stream will kick off at these timings:
- (EDT - Eastern Daylight Time) – 9:00 AM
- (BST - British Summer Time) – 2:00 PM
- (CEST - Central European Summer Time) – 3:00 PM
- (IST - Indian Standard Time) – 6:30 PM
- (JST - Japan Standard Time) – 10:00 PM
What We Can Expect
Nintendo’s first tease gave us enough insight to confirm we’ll be in for a ride. For now, we know that a bigger display, magnetic Joy- cons ( which could work as a mouse as well) and an improved kickstand are on the way.
Cost & Release Date
For now, the price seems to settle around $399, which is $100 more than the original switch. For the timings on when Switch 2 will hit the shelf- its unconfirmed as Best Buy’s didn’t give any hints.
