PUBG Mobile Next Update and New Season Release Date
PUBG Mobile 3.6 update launches on January 9, 2025, featuring the Sacred Quartet mode, elemental powers, new vehicles, and gameplay enhancements.

PUBG Mobile has officially announced the 3.6 update will be rolled out on January 9, 2025, for both Android and iOS users. This much-awaited patch is anticipated to bring tons of new stuff, including the Sacred Quartet theme mode, elemental abilities, new places, and several gameplay improvements designed to enrich the experience of the battle royale.
Sacred Quartet Mode and New Areas
The update introduces the Four Guardians Sect, a mystical mountaintop sanctum where elemental forces converge. Players can interact with elemental devices like Fire Stones for a speed buff, Water Geysers for mid-air gliding, and Wood Vines for strategic climbing advantages. Elemental-themed crates and Spirit Air Drops will also provide valuable loot throughout the match.
The Elemental Mastery Pavilion expands the experience with elemental trials, secret treasures, and unique teleportation portals known as Spirit Gates, offering one-way travel to the Four Guardians Sect. Meanwhile, the Serene Bamboo Forest adds a fun twist, allowing players to feed pandas for rewards and unlock a special Panda Vehicle for mobility.
Elemental Powers and Abilities
The Sacred Quartet mode introduces a selection of elemental arts, each offering unique abilities that can be chosen on Spawn Island.

Flaming Phoenix focuses on offensive skills with a fireball attack and enhanced movement.

Aqua Dragon creates a defensive water barrier that blocks vision and reduces incoming damage.

Whirlwind Tiger provides rapid movement using a wind cloud, paired with a protective shield.

Naturespirit Deer summons a spirit deer capable of marking enemies and teleporting players across distances.
These abilities are designed to create dynamic engagements, adding a mystical twist to classic PUBG Mobile gunfights.
New Gameplay Mechanics and Vehicles
The Spirit Collecting Bell adds a new cooperative element where teams must locate and activate a mystical bell to receive supply drops. Additionally, Guardians United challenges squads to survive using all elemental arts, rewarding victors with a special results animation.

For vehicle enthusiasts, the Panda Vehicle adds a playful touch, functioning as both a standard two-seater and a rolling shield that defends players while moving. The Vehicle Drift feature, available in classic mode, allows for sharper turns and enhanced driving control.
The 3.6 update for PUBG Mobile will be themed on the Sacred Quartet and promise high-intensity visuals while deep-rooted strategy while being played with element powers and new game mechanics.
