So Netmarble, which has been known for anime games before, is now working on something again with The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin. This game isn’t just another mobile spin-off. It’s like a proper RPG, open-world type, but not continuing the same story from anime. It’s doing its own way this time.
Right now Android users can pre-register already, though no final release date yet. The graphics look much like anime, with a pretty landscape and faces fans can recognize.
You Don’t Just Walk—You Fly, Swim, Climb Too
One thing this game really trying to show is how you move around. You can go up, down, fly with glide, swim across waters, and even climb rocks and cliffs. It makes the map feel more alive and less straight. It has something like Genshin does, but this is for the Seven Deadly Sins world.
The fighting style now is in real-time, not wait-your-turn kind. You can change characters during fight and do combos, which feels fast. Of course Meliodas is there, also Elizabeth, Diane and others, but they also added few new people who are part of the original game-only story.
Story That Goes Sideways, Not Forward
Unlike old games or anime, Origin does not tell what happened before or after. It’s like the same world, different version. Some say it’s an alternate timeline, which lets the game bring surprises even to fans who saw everything already. The characters might act differently or be in different situations.
Story mode is kind of long, with plenty of dialogue and cutscenes, but sometimes things move slowly. Still, they try to make it feel like a full anime experience.

Platforms and Why You Might Pre-Register
The game is coming for Android, iOS, and PC, and they said it will be cross-platform so people using different devices can still play together. This is good since mobile and PC don’t always mix.
There are also rewards for people who pre-register early. Things like in-game money, gear, or items that help you level up characters faster when the game releases.
Anime RPG With New Direction
Seven Deadly Sins: Origin doesn’t feel like it's repeating old steps. It’s big, kind of risky, and wants to be more open than usual anime games. The movement is more free, the story is new, and the characters are a mix of known and unknown. If you liked the series before, maybe this one is worth trying when it finally launches.
