Valorant is back with big changes, aiming to fix issues across the board. The goal? Bringing PC and console Valorant closer than ever. Starting with patch 10.10, Riot is unifying the player interfaces for both platforms to make support simpler and updates faster.
What does that mean for us? A cleaner, more consistent experience whether you’re on mouse and keyboard or controller. But that’s just the start. Patch 10.10 is packed with some of the most wanted updates — including agent changes, an increased cap on refunded RR, and much more. Let’s dive in!
Agent Updates
Raze:
-
What’s changed: Explosion visual effects for Boom Bot and Paint Shells are now more accurate to their actual hitboxes and disappear faster.
-
Why it matters: This helps you better judge where Raze’s explosives will land and reduces screen clutter, making it easier to focus during fights.
Client Updates
Collection updates
Riot is making changes to unify the player interface on PC and console. This means less time fixing things separately and more time to bring cool new features faster. Some changes might seem small, but they add up and help smooth out the experience across platforms.
Here’s what’s new on the Collection page:
-
Console:
Removed the separate page for content types — now everything (Player Cards, Sprays, Flex, etc.) is all in one spot like on PC.
Gamepad navigation got smoother.
-
PC:
Removed Level and Chroma icons on weapon tiles for a cleaner look.
Minor layout tweaks.
Competitive Updates
Rank Rollback:
For players below Radiant, Riot increased the max refunded RR you can get in an Act. They’re still monitoring edge cases around experiences with refunds but players can now get refunded for cheaters in their matches more consistently.
Mode Updates
Swiftplay — Tejo
-
Armageddon start points will be bumped up from 2 to 3. (Went live in patch 10.09 but got missed in the notes.)
-
Ultimates at 9 points in the future will auto-scale now.
Map
Icebox is still off in Deathmatch and Escalation while they fix spawn issues from patch 10.09.
Bug Fixes
Agents
1. Vyse:
-
Riot fixed a bug where Arc Rose’s hit effects would trigger even when it hit non-player entities.
-
Resolved an issue where placing Arc Rose too close to the Spike would prevent Vyse from using it for the rest of the round.
2. Deadlock:
-
Bug where players could sometimes jump out of Net Toss despite being within its area of effect is now resolved.
3. Tejo:
-
Fixed an issue where Astra’s concussion would affect Tejo’s stealth drone if the drone had line of sight, even unintentionally.
-
Resolved rocket interaction bugs where Tejo’s abilities were being disrupted by Waylay’s Saturate and Convergent Paths.
4. Yoru:
-
Riot fixed a visual bug where flash decals would persist on surfaces after bouncing, even after detonation.
5. Brimstone:
-
Riot fixed an issue where Brimstone’s ultimate visuals would draw underneath the map, making it hard to see for players.

Is Patch 10.10 Valorant good?
Overall, patch 10.10 isn’t just some random update — it’s a solid step toward making Valorant smoother for everyone, no matter how you play and on what. It's a good step in my book
The UI changes might seem small at first, but trust me, they add up. Plus, all the bug fixes and gameplay tweaks just make things feel cleaner throughout. There are still some things to fix, like Icebox being disabled for now and omen, but Riot’s on it. For now, try out the changes, and see how they feel. What do you think about the patch?
