Valorant Patch 10.11 Notes: Finisher Cam, Bug Fixes, and Premier Rewards

Valorant Patch 10.11 adds the Finisher Cam, new bug fixes, UI changes, and competitive tweaks for PC and console.

The latest patch update 10.11 is out for Valorant now, and while it may not be the most renowned patch update seen by the community, there is still some stuff going down. Riot did not work with any agents or change any maps; however, one new thing added is a feature called the Finisher Cam. Finisher Cams have all been altered to accommodate players who have difficulty seeing effects during finishers, primarily people with visual sensitivity to flashing lights or motion clutter.

Although Finisher Cams have been updated, this update patch has spatial clairvoyant elements as well as some non-specific bug fixes, new fixes to compete in PC versus Console, and minor changes in gameplay.

The Finisher Cam Addressing Photosensitivity, Client and Social Updates

The biggest patch 10.11 update would be the Finisher Cam. Similar in control to the Spike Cam, it would come on when a player is ended with a gun finisher's animation. This minimizes the visual clutter and hopefully retards the photosensitivity caused by the flashing lights in finishers. On the other hand, it enhances the overall flow while removing the wild camera movement that would occur during those times.

The new and improved Career page background music is now a remix of Qing Madi's "Ego," giving players an alternate musical vibe to enjoy. On the social front, Riot, though, made the in-game voice indicators more distinguishable in serious matches.

Bugs, Bugs Everywhere in Agents and Abilities Fixes

This patch is heavily stacked with fixes for all sorts of issues affecting Agents and their abilities, especially in Spectating and Observing. Some of the major fixes include:

  • The visual of Fade's Nightfall now finally disappears for spectators.

  • Visuals for Reyna's Leer, Waylay's Convergent Paths, and Clove's Pick-me-up now work properly.

  • Chamber's Trademark now properly colours teams on the minimap.

  • Visual effects of Breach's Fault Line now correspond with the APA area of effect.

  • Removal of area names in Tejo's Guided Salvo Map and Armageddon Map was undertaken to prevent overlaps caused by reduced cast ranges.

Premier Rewards and Player Card Effects for PC

From Stage V25A4, the winners of the Premier playoffs V25A3 get to enjoy exclusive rewards on their PC: a Gun Buddy, a title, and a brand-new Player Card effect. However, only players who have participated in at least two Weekly matches or one Playoff match shall be eligible, so staying on the team till after the playoffs is critical. The distribution of rewards will be about 24 hours after the conclusion of the event.

Console Performance Tracking Update

A new Performance view is now available for use by Console players on the End of Game and Match Details screen. This allows them to have a clearer picture regarding their matching against opponents, aiming to bring competition tracking a bit closer to the PC element.
