Everything You Need to Know About Valorant Patch 11.0 (Corrode & Agent Changes)
Valorant Patch 11.0 introduces major agent updates, a new map called Abyss, and a fresh Episode 9 Act 1 Battle Pass. Learn all the key details in this beginner-friendly breakdown.

Riot Games is going to present the VALORANT Season 2025 Act IV with the Valorant Patch 11.0. This large patch comes with heavy balancing of agents, a new map, Abyss, and new cosmetic items, which adds a fun variety to casual and competitive gaming.
Updates on Major Agents
The patch is aimed at balancing the duelist and initiator agents to enhance their balance in all ranks. The latest agent, Waylay, receives multiple buffs to make her more playable. We no longer need her saturation to be trimmed, and the area of its effect is increased (12m instead of 10), as well as the speed of its activation (0.6s instead of 1.3s). Lightspeed and Refract's equip and unequip times have been shortened, which improved her kit so far as inexperienced players are concerned, as well as her more advanced counterparts.
In the meantime, Phoenix, Neon, and Reyna get a nerf. There is a new change in that the Flash Curveball by Phoenix, which winds up more slowly and therefore is simpler to avoid. Neon's Relay Bolt delay has been changed to compensate for its stun capacity. The HP of Reyna has also been decreased, and her Leer has more visual clues to counter it better.
The objective of utility variation among the agents is fairness and clarity. The sound of Sova's drone and recon bolt is less detectable, Omen's smoke is less exposed to the enemies in proximity, and the ultimate ability of Killjoy takes less time. Cypher's spycam receives a quality-of-life update as well by increasing its visibility.
Valorant New Map: Corrode
The best thing about Patch 11.0 is the new competitive map, Corrode. Corrode is located in a deserted coastal building with its own vertical combats and dense zones in the middle of control. It rotates in the ranked pool, replacing Pearl and Split, whereas Bind was brought back. The incidence of RR lost by ranked players within the premiere week of Corrode will be lower to enable them to adapt more easily.
